About Me:
Vic Savino brings a dynamic background in marketing and communications to his position of Director of Communications for the Treaty One Nations.
Vic’s career in communications began as a freelance writer for CBC Indigenous, followed by roles as a Digital Content Programmer for SkipTheDishes and Communications Officer for the Southern Chiefs’ Organization. Upon graduating from Red River College’s Business Administration Program in 2016 with a major in marketing, Vic co-owned The Dogfather Hot Dogs mobile food cart for seven years while taking on the odd freelance photography gig.
With a passion for storytelling and a talent for engaging audiences, Vic now channels his expertise to amplify the voice and vision of the Treaty One Nations. As a member of Peguis First Nation born and raised in Winnipeg, MB, Vic is proud to support the economic growth and empowerment of the seven Treaty One communities through the development of Naawi-Oodena.
