POSITION OVERVIEW:
Brokenhead Ojibway Nation is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Income Assistance Administrator. The incumbent will be responsible for working in a fast paced, demanding, multi-tasking environment. Incumbent will need to have working knowledge of the Income Assistance Policy and the ability to work with extensive involvement in the analytical financial process and assist in the accurate collection and submission of information along with report compilation for the Income Assistance Department.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Financial experience in data entry, accounts payable and account reconciliation required.
- Extensive computer knowledge including excel and the ability to attend CRW training.
- Extensive working knowledge of Provincial and Federal Government funding and reporting.
- Extensive knowledge and analytical expertise with spreadsheets and financial information/reports.
- Highly efficient in problem solving with ability to work with strict confidentiality.
- Ability to work well as a team and independently with little supervision.
- Professional and tact communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Community and Income Assistance Program.
- Willing to submit to pre-employment drug test and future random drug testing.
