Vic Savino brings a dynamic background in marketing and communications to his role as Director of Communications for the Treaty One Nations.

Vic’s career in communications began as a freelance writer for CBC Indigenous, followed by roles as a Digital Content Programmer for SkipTheDishes and as a Communications Officer for the Southern Chiefs’ Organization. After graduating from Red River College’s Business Administration Program in 2016, Vic was also a part-owner of a hot dog cart for seven years while taking on the odd freelance photography gig.

With a passion for storytelling and a talent for engaging audiences, Vic now channels his expertise to amplify the voice and vision of the Treaty One Nations. As a member of Peguis First Nation who was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB, Vic is proud to be given the opportunity to champion the economic growth and empowerment of the seven Treaty One communities through the development of Naawi-Oodena.
