POSITION SUMMARY: The Brokenhead Ojibway Nation LANDS Department is seeking highly motivated individuals to fill 2 positions on the Lands Stewardship Team to assist and contribute to different land and resource projects within BON lands and traditional territory.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Class 5 Driver’s License is considered an asset.
• Ability to acquire Class 5 Driver’s License with minimal barriers.
• Ability to work in a team environment under the Lands Steward Coordinator.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks when required.
• Valid Chainsaw/Brush saw Safety Certificate considered an asset.
• Ability to maintain and troubleshoot equipment to keep in a working order.
• Valid first aid certification is considered an asset.
• Enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
• Willingness to build capacity and professional development.
• Knowledge of mechanics and building is considered an asset.
• Willing to submit to pre-employment drug test and future random drug testing.
