POSITION SUMMARY: Brokenhead Ojibway Nation is looking for a motivated individual to fill the full-time position of Manager for the BON Entertainment Centre. The Manager will develop and implement business plans, manage staff and daily operations, ensure high quality customer service, and maintain accurate records of money and inventory. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure compliance with gaming, tobacco, and taxation regulations
  • Supervise and coordinate all site staff, including gaming, security, and janitorial teams
  • Oversee daily operations such as maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support
  • Implement security measures to prevent fraud and ensure gaming integrity
  • Complete all financial reporting, including revenue tracking and compliance
  • Monitor and report on-site performance, customer engagement, and building issues
  • Develop and implement training programs for new staff
  • Support staff in providing excellent customer service
  • Manage escalated customer service and operational issues
  • Provide updates on trends, new machines, and technological advancements
  • Promote responsible gaming with support materials and programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO, including report writing and special projects

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Post-secondary education in business administration or management is preferred; a combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Strong skills in revenue tracking, financial reporting, and compliance
  • Exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Familiarity with gaming regulations, security measures, and responsible gaming practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and communication skills; ability to handle confidential information and pass a Criminal Record Check
  • Reliable transportation and a valid full driver’s license
