William Richards

William Richards—a proud member of Opaskwayak Cree Nation—holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, is currently pursuing his MBA, and works as a Project Manager for the Treaty One Development Corporation. Family is everything to William, who has three children and is excited to welcome his youngest to the world in 2024.

Professionally, William has an extensive background in community development and finance. He previously served as the Director of Community Works and Operations at Opaskwayak Cree Nation for approximately five years, and also has five years of experience in finance and accounting operations for the same organization.

In his spare time, William enjoys spending time with family, hitting the gym, and playing hockey. William is passionate about his work with the Treaty One Team and loves collaborating with his colleagues. He is optimistic about the future of the organization and excited to contribute to its shared goals in the development of Naawi-Oodena.
