REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: Security for Treaties 1-11 Gathering

The Treaty One Nation (T1N) and (T2-AN) are hosting a large-scale event in need of security services. The Security Contractor will be responsible for providing all labour and management. The Contractor will also be responsible for operational costs, including supplies, materials, and maintenance of any equipment required to deliver security services at the event.

About The Treaties 1-11 Gathering

The Treaties 1-11 Gathering is an annual event which brings up to 1,200 leaders and community members together from numbered Treaty signatory First Nations across Canada. Leadership will discuss political, legal, International, and communications strategies. Other topics include Treaty framework, structure, lands, rights to health and education, paths to further healing from residential schools, promises made by the Crown; and what steps to follow in order to grow as sovereign Nations and leaders in the economic landscape.
